Castle Fantast
The castle was furbished in luxury, and later it was renovated into a luxurious hotel, named “Fantast” after the owner’s stud, the incomparable competition horse on hippodromes across Europe. From the same time when the castle was build is also the swimming pool of Olympic proportions, while latter added were tennis courts and hiking tracks in the big park of the mixed French-English type. Castle in Kulpin
Kulpin comprise two castles. Both a castle in the park were built for the noble family Stratimirović. Family Stratimirović, gave several historical figures: Metropolitan Stevan Stratimirović, George Stratimirović – commander of the Serbian army in the revolution of 1848/49 year.This family was one of the most important Serbian families in the Habsburg monarchy.In a castle today houses the Agricultural Museum , which is something genealogy and family Stratimirović Dunđerski. Parks around the castles, as well as building a large castle is very well preserved, while small is in poor condition. Both the castle are monuments of great importance. The castle of the Stratimirovic family in Kulpin, one of the oldest settlements in southern Backa, has been turned into an agricultural museum of old machines and tools. The park around it keeps the biggest ivy colony in this part of Europe.
Castle Ecka
In Ecka, near the city of Zrenjanin, there is the castle surrounded by a beautiful park of centuries-old trees. It was built for rich landowner, count Lazar Lukac in the late 18th century, and the stories are circling that most distinguished guests of this place, where Franz Liszt used to play, were emperor Franz Josef and count Esterhazy. Today, it is the “Kastel” hotel, with a nearby art colony that features more than 2,500 works of art.
